I really want to get a neglected B5 S4 and nurse it back to health, tear the engine apart and get it back together with Frankenturbo F21s and various other fun stuff.

I’ve never really liked the A5/S5/Rs5 that much to be perfectly honest.

The B8 A4 is my sheeeit, but if I wanted an Rs car I’d probably get an old Rs4 or Rs6/7.

I was asking more about the body style, but I agree that the B8 A4 is an amazing car, and if I were to go RS I would want a 7, or if the gods allowed it, an RS3.

IMO the A5/S5/RS5 really should’ve been a 4 door sedan instead of a what-ever-it-is.

True, I suppose. I’m not a fan of 2-door versions of 4-door cars. Or even worse, 2 door versions of a 4 door car that was adapted from a 2 door car wanting to look like a 4 door.

I’m not a huge fan of coupes outside of like the Porsche 911 and regular cab trucks (close nuff..)

Good excuse to not have to haul people around, but sometimes you have to haul people around. That being said, I don’t think I’ll ever DD a 2d.

I love the appeal of a more “sporty” drive, but if I wanted 2 door and sporty, I would probably go hatchback before coupe.

They blow up a lot more (Torque converter). I’d have to have a manual one though. I’m not a manual purist, but it’s just one of those cars where it’s either manual or bust.

That being said, if somebody was like “Oh, I don’t want this car anymore have it for free” I’d be like fuck yeah.

Yup, I personally can’t do 80% of “hot” hatches. Including the Fiesta ST. I see zero appeal in that car.
